In 1960, Bob Newhart's debut comedy album, The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart, did things no one expected. It was the first comedy album to make number one on the Billboard charts and win two Grammy Awards, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist, on it's way to becoming a Gold Record.

It also spawned four sequel albums. All also available in Apple Music:

He went on to have a very long and successful career in television and film, but if you've never heard his early standup work, you're missing out. One of my favorites is Superman and the Drycleaner, one of Bob's classic telephone bits.
